Kate Harlason & the Martins

"Haralson is a local treasure, an established local songwriter with endearing and gently fierce material backed by either guitar or piano (she's entirely capable on either instrument). Haralson's soulful musical flights and story-songs spring forth from the same reflecting pools investigated by Patti Griffin and Ani DiFranco." --from some awesome person at Southgate House. Thanks, Southgate.

Wolfcryer

WolfCryer (Matt Baumann) is a former classical and jazz saxophonist from St. Louis Missouri. Following a growing discontent with the local jazz and R&B scene, Matt all but quit the saxophone and took up the four-string banjo following recurring dreams of becoming a singer/songwriter. Now WolfCryer is a one-man show on banjo, vocals, and harmonica. All the while he writes his own very personal songs composed in frenetic energy, soulful lows, and all born of powerful lyrics.
