The band’s easygoing, summery strums and well-crafted vocals sometimes evoke the simpler side of Jeff Tweedy, but are rarely simplistic. Surgeons In Heat have only been together for a year or so, but the hard-working group has been turning heads thanks to an aggressive touring schedule and fuzzily tuneful songs like the catchy rocker “I Wanna Get Up” and “The Price.”
