Father Figures is a 5 piece zombie jazz* group, old friends who met when they moved to New York City for school in 2006, learned to improvise together and formed the band as a way to create dynamic powerful instrumental music, most of the sounds are improvised but done in a way that sounds composed, with a collective goal of listenability, fun and spontaneity.
